OhioLINK Spring 2022 Service Disruption

[OhioLINK requesting will be unavailable starting March 11 through the end of the semester]

Musselman Library recognizes that it has been a difficult year for library material requests, with delays causing both frustration and inconvenience for Bluffton faculty, staff, and students.  Because of these ongoing delivery issues, OhioLINK and the State Library of Ohio will be changing our delivery provider.

Beginning March 11, 2022, requesting for OPAL, OhioLINK, and SearchOHIO library materials will be turned off for the remainder of the semester, in order to facilitate this transition efficiently.

The requesting shutdown is necessary to avoid a backlog of materials in the system during the transition.  OhioLINK regrets the timing of this disruption but feels it is prudent given ongoing serious service problems with the current delivery contractor.  Beginning April 18, we will return to working with the company who provided delivery services prior to July 2021.  OhioLINK is confident that this company will provide efficient delivery of materials once again.
