When articles are not available fulltext from WINDOW or the research databases, or when books or other publications aren't available from our library or OhioLINK, don't give up. Request what you've found by using our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service.
How long does it take?
An average wait is about one week for articles. Wait time can be up to three weeks for articles that are difficult to locate or for materials that are delivered to us by postal mail. Increasingly however, libraries provide articles electronically, and so the wait time is shorter.
How will the article be delivered, and how will I be notified?
Usually the article will be delivered by email, so be sure to include your email address on your requests.
